Dollah starts packing his
bags, and heads to the space
station.
He is stopped by one of the Astronauts, Mrs. Wang. She tells him that the spaceship is very small, and only has space for 10 of his things.
Dollah unzips his bag, and looks inside. He’s sad that he can’t bring everything, but he slowly thinks about 10 things to leave behind.
Take a look at your list. What are the 10 things that you will remove from Dollah’s bag, and what are 10 things that you must have with you to the new planet?

As humans, we all have basic Needs: air, food, water, clothes and shelter. These things are essential for us to live.
Things like a book or piano are what we call Wants: things that you would like to have, but can live without.
Everyone have different Needs. We can also have different Wants and Needs depending on the situation. However, satisfying Needs is more important than Wants!
Great job, young explorer!
